FNSL (Front National pour le Salut de la Lybie) was founded on 7 October 1981 in the USA and is directed by Mohammed Youssef el Megariaf. Its main goal is to overthrow Colonel Qaddafi. Its flag is divided in two equal triangles, the upper being pale blue and the lower yellow. White crescent and star are added in canton. FNSL and other anti-Qaddafi movements also used the flag of the former kingdom of Libya.
